WORKSHOP · HALF-DAY · IN PERSON NEXT DATES ON REQUEST
WORKSHOP · 01

Build a website worth visiting.

The workshop we run before a single pixel gets designed. Half a day, in a room, getting the “why”, the audience and the secret bit nailed down. By the end you have a brand foundation that becomes the brief, whether the build is ours, yours, or another agency’s.

01 / 06 What we cover THREE MODULES · ONE OUTCOME

Three modules. One of them stays secret.

Most website projects fail at the brief, not the build. The workshop fixes the brief. Two of the three modules are written down here; the third we keep to ourselves on purpose, tell you what it is and the magic goes out of it.

01 The why

Your “Why” message

Simon Sinek’s golden circle, applied to your business. We pull out the real reason you exist — the line above the homepage hero, the thing the receptionist says when she picks up the phone, the thing the warehouse note says when the order goes out. If we can’t agree it in the room, we can’t put it on the website.

02 The audience

Sociographic profile

Not demographics. Sociographics — what your customers actually want from your brand. The language they use. The fears they bring. The win they’re after. We write the customer in the room with you, so every page on the eventual website is talking to a specific person, not a focus group.

03 The secret module

We can’t tell you here

Genuinely. The third module is the one that gives the design somewhere to go — and if we describe it in advance it stops working. We do it on the day. Trust the process; every workshop client has told us afterwards it was the bit they didn’t expect but wouldn’t want to skip.

02 / 06 Who it’s for ONE DECISION-MAKER · UP TO 4 IN THE ROOM

Founders. Directors. Owners.

The workshop’s for the person whose name’s on the company or the person they trust with the website project. We need the decision to happen in the room. Bring up to four people from your side: marketing lead, brand person, the salesperson who hears the customer’s actual words on the phone.

  • Founders commissioning a first proper website
  • Directors re-commissioning a website that never landed
  • Marketing leads inheriting a brand foundation that doesn’t exist
  • Agencies who want us to do the foundation work white-labelled
03 / 06 Format HALF-DAY · LE11 OR YOUR OFFICE

Half a day. In a room.

Four hours, in person, with the kettle on. We come to your office or you come to LE11, whichever lets the right people be in the room. Remote works if it has to, but we love to see your faces, in the flesh.

04 / 06 What you walk away with ALL DOCUMENTED

A brief that works.

You leave with a document. Not a deck. The doc is written for the next person who touches your website project, designer, developer, agency, in-house team, so the brief is the same brief no matter who builds.

01 Your “Why” statement, written and agreed
02 Your audience sociographic, written in the customer’s words
03 The secret-module output (you’ll see it on the day)
04 A homepage hero direction we can hand any designer
05 A page-by-page priority list for the rest of the site
06 A 30-minute follow-up call two weeks later, free

SALESFORCE · ROUND ONE APPROVED

Round one. “I love it.”

An afternoon’s work earlier in the year put us in front of Salesforce, a unique business, run by people who liked the way we worked. Honest, results-led, no nonsense. We took them through the workshop. The brand foundation went down on paper. Our designers got to work. The owners were dubious (we suspect), right up until the first design landed in their inbox. Three words came back: “I love it.” Booom.

No form on this one. Workshops are a conversation, we want to know if the timing’s right, who’s coming, what you’re trying to fix. Pick whichever door suits.
